Nat-O-Ween

Don't miss out on the fun Oct. 28 at the Natatorium's annual Nat-O-Ween.

Children ages 2 to 8 are invited to wear their swimsuits under costumes and parade around the Natatorium. Children under 2 are free. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Bring cameras for a commemorative photo by the tree fall festival tree house and plunge for pumpkins in the pool at 6 p.m. Stay for open swim until 9 p.m. Stop by the welcome desk to reserve a spot today. Halloween Party at Keyser Barn

Join friends and neighbors at the Cuyahoga Falls Halloween Spooktacular on Oct. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the newly restored Keyser Barn in Keyser Park, 851 W. Bath Road.

Admission to the event, costume and pumpkin carving contest and participation in the Keyser Barn Trick or Treat are free Bring a pre-carved pumpkin for entry in one of the following carving contest categories: Largest, Smallest, Best Decorated, Scariest, or Most Original. A costume contest will also take place with categories that include: up to 18 months, 19 months-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-10 years. Be seated at the stage by 2:15 p.m. to participate in the costume contest. An activity stamp may be purchased for unlimited access to hayrides, petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables and hay maze. Food available for purchase from Swenson's Food Truck, Metropolis Popcorn and baked goods being sold by a local Boy Scout den.

Adult ballet

The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department is offering Adult Ballet lessons at the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave.

Come join the fun, meet new people, and get some exercise. These classes are designed to promote good posture, self-confidence, and grace, while teaching students how to strengthen and protect their bodies from injury. The classes will consist of traditional ballet barre, stretching exercises and mild ballet center floor combinations. All classes are four-week sessions with new Tuesday sessions beginning Nov. 1 and running through Nov. 22 and Thursday sessions beginning Nov. 3 and running through Dec. 1 (no class Nov. 24). Tuesday classes are Intermediate, 9 to 10:15 a.m., Intermediate, 6 to 7 p.m., and Beginner, 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday class is Beginner/Intermediate from 9 to 10 a.m. All class fees must be paid at first class.

Ballroom Nights

The Parks and Recreation Department is offering Ballroom Nights at the Quirk Cultural Center on Oct. 28.

The event includes a light snack, music and a dance lesson provided by John and Pam Burton. There will be a free lesson offered from 7:30 to 8 p.m., and an open dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. No partner needed, ages 16 and older only.

Belly dancing

fitness class - new session

The Parks and Recreation Department is offering belly dancing fitness class at the Quirk Cultural Center. Come join the fun, meet new people, and get some exercise.

This beginner class consists of low impact dancing set to authentic Middle Eastern music in a supportive atmosphere. All classes are four-week sessions taking place on Monday evenings with a new session beginning on Oct. 17 and running through Nov. 14 (no class on Oct. 31) from 7 to 8 p.m. Pre-registration is required.

Adult Coed Power Volleyball Open Gym

The Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Thursday night Adult Coed Power Volleyball Open Gym at Roberts Middle School from 7 to 10 p.m.

This supervised open gym will be every Thursday night at Roberts Middle School beginning September 8 through Dec. 15 (no gym on Nov. 24). This open gym is designated for A Level power players.
