Lane restrictions on Route 8 between Graham Road, Route 303
State Route 8 between Graham Road and Route 303 is reduced to two lanes in each direction for pavement repairs until further notice.
Route 8 between Graham Road and Route 303 will be reduced to one lane in each direction nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. until further notice, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. This work is the beginning of a $930,000 project to make various pavement repairs on state Route 8 between Graham Road and State Route 303. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
State senator to host district office hours
State Sen. Frank LaRose (R-Hudson) welcomes residents to attend his district office hours on Oct. 15 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Stow City Hall, 3760 Darrow Road in Stow. LaRose represents Wayne and portions of Summit and Stark counties in northeast Ohio.
No appointment is necessary.
Councilwoman hosts ward meeting Oct. 18
Councilwoman Mary Nichols-Rhodes will host a Ward 4 meeting and presentation of "Your Family Matters: Options to Protect Your Heirs and Assets" by Summit County Probate Court Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer on Oct. 18 in the Sutliff Room at the Cuyahoga Falls Library.
"This program is not legal advice," said Judge Stormer. "It is simply good information. Your Family Matters gives you simple, free tools to streamline or bypass the probate process."
Sign-in and refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m. Judge Marsh Stormer will speak from 7 to 7:45 p.m.
