Lane restrictions on Route 8 between Graham Road, Route 303

State Route 8 between Graham Road and State Route 303 has various nightly lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

Route 8 between Graham Road and Route 303 is reduced to two lanes in each direction for pavement repairs.

Route 8 between Graham Road and Route 303 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. until further notice, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. This work is the beginning of a $930,000 project to make various pavement repairs on State Route 8 between Graham Road and State Route 303. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September.

Cuyahoga Falls City Council is on recess during the month of August. Council will re-convene in its committee meetings on Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Natatorium, 2345 Fourth St.

T.R.U.T.H. (Together Rise Up 2 Terminate/Conquer Heroin), founded by Rob and Juli Stone of Stow, in memory of their son, Dylan R. Stone, is a group of parents and students from the Stow-Munroe Falls community joining the fight against heroin.

International Overdose Awareness Day will be recognized in the city of Stow Aug. 31; outside Stow City Hall at 7 p.m. T.R.U.T.H. will present speakers, education and a candlelight vigil honoring those loved and lost to this epidemic claiming so many young lives as well as supporting those who continue to battle addiction. Bring a candle.
