The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department is offering Ballroom Nights at the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. on Aug. 26.
The event includes a light snack, music and a dance lesson provided by John and Pam Burton. There will be a free lesson offered from 7:30 to 8 p.m., and an open dance from 8 to 10:30 p.m. No partner needed, only ages 16 and older are allowed.
Natatorium Annual 5K Race
Come out and run the Natatorium's 5K race or family 1M fun run°Sept. 11.

Adult Creative Classes
Summer is coming to an end but the Quirk Cultural Center is gearing up for a busy fall.
Adults will need some creative time too so why not try your hand at ceramics, pottery, cake decorating, or even woodshop projects.

Homeschoolers free trial day Sept. 7°
Coming Fall 2016 is the annual Natatorium's Homeschool Program.
The weekly homeschool program will resume on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon. It will be an eight-week session of land for one hour and a 40 minute American Red Cross swim lesson to immediately follow. Participants will practice skills in swimming, group sports, fitness classes, health and nutrition, water fitness, and meeting individual goals on a weekly basis.
All participants must sign up the registration week (Sept. 7 through 15) for the eight-week session to be enrolled.°Don't miss out on the Free Trial Day Sept. 7 at 10 a.m.°°

Cuyahoga Falls Strollers
The Strollers are a group of people age 50 and up who enjoy the outdoors and area parks and will be completing the summer schedule on Aug. 23, as the group will be strolling the Hike and Bike Trail followed by lunch at the Spaghetti Warehouse.
The last summer hike will be on Aug. 30 at John Brown Tannery Park in Kent with lunch at Pufferbelly.
The Strollers meet at the Quirk Cultural Center on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. then carpool to the designated park for their hike. New participants are welcome.
