Radio Club hosts event Aug. 21
The Cuyahoga Falls Amateur Radio Club invites anyone interested in technology and Ham Radio to its eighth annual Tailgate Hamfest and Swap Meet on Aug. 21 at the Robert Pinn Armory on Allen Road in Stow.
This all outside event, held rain or shine, offers an opportunity for Ham Radio operators and others to demonstrate and offer for sale radios, computers, electrical equipment, parts, tools, and cables; almost any type of technological treasure may be found. Parking is $5 per vehicle, regardless of number of occupants and whether selling or just shopping. Vendors should bring their own tables and chairs. All attendees will be entered into drawings for merchandise certificates courtesy of the ARRL and The RF Adapter Guy. The parking lot opens at 7 a.m. for vendor set up, buyers get in starting at 8, and the event wraps up by 1 p.m. For more information go to cfarc.org/tailgate.php Still got questions?
