Northampton United Methodist Church

Join one of the church's ongoing fitness groups. Fit NOW, a walking group, meets at the church on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and utilizes the gym and hallways to get in the steps for the day. Yoga takes place on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. All are welcome. Contact the church office for more information on either of these groups.

The church office will be closed on May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.

Pastor Keith McLaughlin invites the community to join in worship on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. (traditional), 9:45 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. (contemporary). Infant - preschool care is offered in the Children's Center across from the sanctuary. Sunday School classes for kids adults are offered during the 9:45 and 11:10 hour. Teens 6th-12th grades are invited to Radi8 during the 11:10 worship hour.

Pilgrim United Church of Christ

Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 130 Broad Blvd., invites community members to join the congregation each Sunday for Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.in the sanctuary. All are welcome to join the congregation for worship followed by Fellowship Hour.

Pilgrim's Tuesday Mornings at 10:30 a.m. Bible Study is open to the community. Confirmation for youth takes place on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. through Pentecost Sunday, June 4.

Pilgrim continues to invite the community to the newly formed crochet and knitting group that meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 8:15 p.m. through the end of May. It will then meet on the fourth Tuesday in June, July and August. This is for anyone, the group has teachers to help teach

the stitches, or bring the project they are working on, or come to talk. All people are welcome to participate.

Stop by Pilgrim during the Car Show every Monday through the summer for a $1 hot dog and $1 sodas and water to support the Pilgrim Youth Fund.

The Act-It UP! Community Theatre of Pilgrim performance dates for the 2017 Mystery Dinner Theatre-The Mysterious Case of the Broken Heart (Rated PG) are: May 26 at 7 p.m. with dinner and dessert, tickets $20 for adults and $17 for Seniors (60+)/Students with a choice of Smoked Sausage Jambalaya with Bayou Fried Chicken or Baked Chicken Breasts with a Sour Cream Marinade; Baked Idaho Potato or Baked Sweet Potato; Green Beans Almondine; and dessert features Bread Pudding with a Butter Brandy Sauce; and May 27th at 2 pm and includes the dessert, tickets $15 for adults and $13 for Seniors (60+)/Students. A Vegetarian Entre option is available upon request.

All church services and activities are open to the wider community.

First United Methodist Church

Worship services at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, are on Sundays at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The church has many Sunday School classes for all ages which meet from 9:45-10:45 a.m. There is child care available for infants through preschoolers all morning and there is a Children's Worship service for those in Kindergarten-fifth grade during the 11 a.m. service.

Bethany United Church of Christ

Bethany United Church of Christ welcomes all, wherever they may be in their faith journey.

Sunday Faith Formation classes begin at 9:15 for the Senior High students and 9:30 for others. Grades 1-7 gather at 9:30 in the music room, then go to Chapel Time at 9:50. After attending the beginning of the worship service and the children's message, Grades 1-4 participate in a Rotation Class which will focus on the meaning of Pentecost and Faith Formation while Grades 5-7 study the lectionary scripture for the day at their own level.

From 9:30 to 11:30 Nursery is available as well as classes for 2 and 3 year olds and for preK/Kindergarten children filled with games, song, crafts, and beginning faith formation experiences.

It's all about the children and youth at Bethany U.C.C. on May 21. They will take part in the service and share steps in their faith formation journey. Pastor Steve Welker's sermon is titled "The Whole World in God's Hands" and is based on Acts 17:22-31. Bibles will be presented to the fourth graders progressing to fifth grade. Those moving from one level to another will be promoted. A call has been put out to acknowledge those graduating from high school or acquiring a degree. All the many helpers throughout the past year will also be recognized. The group will conclude with an Open House and social hour in the second floor of the Faith Formation (C.E.) wing so the congregation can know and see where some of the magic (faith formation) happens.

During May Grades 1-4 Faith Formation Class will be studying Pentecost and also preparing for participation in the May 21 Faith Formation Sunday Service.

On June 4 Bethany will celebrate Pentecost and begin with the children leading a Pentecost Parade.

Bethany's Youth will be journeying to Benton Harbor, Mich. to participate in a mission experience from June 11-16. They will also benefit from proceeds at Bethany Night at Donato's on May 31.

Vacation Bible School is on the calendar for the week of June 25. More information to follow.

Broadman Baptist Church

Broadman Baptist Church is located at 350 E. Bath Road. Worship service on Sunday is at 11 a.m. with Sunday School class at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday evening service begins with a meal at 5:30 p.m. costing $4 for adults. Prayer and Praise service is at 6:30 p.m. and Bible studies for all ages begin at 7 p.m.

The summer program for children in first -fifth grade begins June 7 from 6:15 to 8 p.m. Kids will experiment with fun and excitement at SonSpark Labs while they enjoy Bible stories, games, crafts and snacks. Child care is available on Wednesday evenings and Sundays during Sunday School and worship.

First Christian Church

First Christian Church, located on the corner of Second Street and Stow Avenue, invites all to come and explore faith in Sunday School, small groups, or worship.

Child care is available for Sunday School and Sunday Worship. Sunday mornings at 9:30 are the Sunday School programs for all ages. Sunday at 10:45 explore Scripture's application to everyday life, or get a "Second Wind" at the alternative worship service on Wednesdays at 6:30. This informal and interactive service looks at current events through the lens of faith.

On May 21 the congregation will begin planting a community garden that is a partnership with First Methodist Church, Saint John's Episcopal Church, and the Cuyahoga Falls High School that will be in the church park located between the three churches between Second and Third streets and Stow Avenue and Portage Trail.

PUBlic Theology: Different views and different brews. Everyone is invited to come out and have intentional discussions about faith, God, life, and more at HiHo Brewing Company on May 25 at 7 pm.

Saint Joseph Parish

The Altar & Rosary Society will be collecting paper products and personal products for Good Neighbors during the month of May. Collection boxes will be at all the doors of the church.

St. Joseph's summer volleyball camp for students in grades 3-8 runs every Thursday from June 1-July 20. Northminster Presbyterian Church

Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 W. Portage Trail Extension, worships at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday with the Rev. Stephanie Crossland. Rev. Crossland will end the month of May by speaking on Same Old Story, Brand New Song on May 21, and The Beauty of Connections on May 28.

The Children Sunday School classes are in their last month of meeting, and will resume in the fall.

Redeemer Lutheran Church

Redeemer Lutheran Church located at 2141 Fifth St. encourages everyone in the community to participate in worship with the church's family. St. John's Episcopal Church

Join the congregation for Sunday morning worship services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. The church welcomes everyone to worship and shares the Eucharist with all who are sincere in their faith - not just Episcopalians.

The "Soup's On" Free Community Meal will be May 27 at 11 a.m. in the Undercroft Fellowship Hall.

The church is located at the corner of Portage Trail and Second Street in Cuyahoga Falls, and there's plenty of free parking in the city parking deck across Second Street.
