NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York pizza shop owner hopes his pie-making skills are the fastest in the land.
Bruno DiFabio tells the New York Post (http://bit.ly/YyFhzV ) that he is trying to break a world record for fastest number of pizzas made. To do so, he will have to stretch five 10-ounce dough balls evenly onto 12-inch pizza baking sheets. The current record is 28 seconds held by Brian Edler, who owns four Domino's franchises in Ohio.
DiFabio says a judge will time him at Harry's Italian Pizza Bar in New York City next month and he hopes a Guinness official will also attend, according to the paper.
The 43-year-old from Yonkers tells the newspaper that he has worked in pizza parlors all his life and now owns three in Westchester County.
