An Amateur Radio class starts Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dietrich Building located beneath the radio tower at Family & Community Services, 705 Oakwood Street in Ravenna. Students can earn their Technician License and join the exciting and fun hobby of amateur radio. There is a $25 fee payable to the Portage County Amateur Radio Service (PCARS); texts are $30 and will be available at the class. All students will also receive a one year membership in PCARS.
